Braintree and Somerville, MA (November 25, 2024) – The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, is proud to announce that Derrell Desir of Somerville, Massachusetts, has achieved the Certified Financial Specialist (CFS) designation through the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM).

The CFS teaches the fundamentals of property-level finance for managers of multi-family and senior housing communities. The certification process ensures a thorough understanding of various financial principles, practices, and regulations and demonstrates a high level of expertise and commitment to the property management field.

Desir, who joined Peabody in February of 2022, is the property manager at Fenway Community Development Corporation (CDC) in Boston.
