In the spirit of the Helping Hands Day of Service Program, supporting the activities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work, team members from The Peabody Companies joined their Veteran managed communities – Howard Apartments in Brockton and Bedford Green in Bedford – for the 9th annual VA2K Walk and Roll to end veteran homelessness. The short, two-kilometer walk was easily completed on their lunch break and, was a great way to enjoy some time together away from the office. Participants also brought donations of daily living items and toiletries to be donated to the veterans.
