The Peabody Companies Announces Tammy Jordan as VP of New People and Culture Department

|

The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, today announced Tammy Jordan of Hudson, New Hampshire, as Vice President of its new People and Culture Department. This recently reimagined department will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a healthy and thriving organizational culture that prioritizes and places value on taking care of the Peabody team.

In her post, Jordan will oversee the People and Culture Department, including the Benefits and Learning and Development teams. With a team-member-first approach, Jordan will provide leadership and guidance to all Peabody departments while striving to maintain an inclusive, safe, equitable, and respectful work environment for all team members. She will also collaborate with the executive leadership team to strategize and implement long-term business goals, leverage company strengths, and identify opportunities for continued improvement.

Jordan, whose experience in employee development and leadership training spans 17 years, is known for her ability to assist in team transformation. Her professional career has included positions in health care, legal, education, hospitality, not-for-profit, and business consulting.

Jordan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Relations and Work from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

As a practitioner of the belief that the “cultivation of our whole selves creates better leaders,” she advocates for at-risk youth and increasing women’s leadership presence, specifically in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.

Jordan, who volunteers her time to coach young women entrepreneurs, is a proponent of the powers of creative endeavors, such as writing, painting, and gardening. She makes her home in Hudson, New Hampshire, with her husband Tom, son Finn, and family dog Lucille.

In addition to Jordan, members of the firm’s new People and Culture Team are:

Lu Masciovecchio, Employee Experience Manager; Nicole Bresnahan, People and Culture Generalist; Mitchelle Frederick, Talent Acquisition Manager; and Erin Simas, Learning & Development Manager.

The People and Culture Department will emphasize a holistic and people-focused work environment while continuing to focus on all traditional aspects of Human Resources, including recruiting/retention, benefits, hiring/onboarding, performance management, compliance, training and development, and all other strategy and operations.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Tammy to our team as vice president of a department that concentrates on company culture,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, principal and CEO of The Peabody Companies. “Her strong facilitation and listening skills, remarkable instincts, and knowledge of organization development tools and applications are certain to guide our teams to even higher levels of performance and effectiveness.”
