Braintree, MA (March 11, 2021) – The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, announces the promotion of Tamme Polson of Braintree, Massachusetts, to Vice President of Compliance.
In this role, Polson, who previously held the title of Senior Director, Compliance, acts as liaison for Peabody Properties’ owner representatives and regulatory agencies, ensuring accurate coordination of all facets of monitoring the existing portfolio, new lease-ups and occupancy, as well as efforts involving the takeover of affordable housing developments.
Her responsibilities also include the review of owner submitted financial applications, regulatory documents and preparation of Tenant Selection Plans, Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans and Affordability Matrix. In addition, she assures coordination of all Lotteries as well as Application review for approval of new move-ins, and coordinating all reporting requirements for Multiple Programs. She supervises a staff of ten (10) staff members; comprised of a Portfolio Director, Senior Compliance Managers, Compliance Managers and Administrative Support.
Polson joined The Peabody Companies in June of 2017 with 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry; her professional background includes tenure as Director of Compliance for Edgewood Management Corporation in Maryland. Other career highlights include Compliance Manager for the Aurora Housing Authority in Colorado and in various roles with the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority.
She holds designations as a Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), an Assisted Housing Manager (AHM), and a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM).
