Fishing for the Thrill of It

Several of the veterans and staff members at Valley Brook Village recently went on a fishing trip to Raritan Bay. The day started off by Cliffwood Beach and ended over at the pier. Some of the “prizes” given out included Biggest Catch of the Day (a tie between tree limbs and fishing line), Most Seaweed Caught, Most Helpful (someone walked into the very cold water to get his friend’s hat that flew in, soaking his own shoes and pants in the process!), and Most Patient (one of the residents waited it out until the very end of the day). A great time was had by all!
