The Bedford Green Game Room, which came about last summer as the result of the incredible generosity of the Bedford community, recently began hosting a monthly billiard tournament, started by Bedford Green Van Coordinator Scott Lias. Bedford Green resident Mark “Buckey” Goddard was the first winner, and his name (and all subsequent winners’ names) will be listed on a plaque (generously donated by Burlington Trophy), which will be hung in the game room. (Local Bedford group Womenade initially raised the funds that helped to obtain the billiard table.) Look for more winners in future months, as well as team tournaments. Congratulations Buckey!
