Kaeleen Price of the Peabody Companies to Run Boston Marathon on Behalf of Women’s Lunch Place

One of 50 Acts of Kindness performed throughout the year to celebrate milestone anniversary

Braintree, MA (March 12, 2026) – The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms now celebrating its 50th anniversary, is proud to announce that Kaeleen Price, a multi-site manager at Peabody Properties, will run the April 20th Boston Marathon on behalf of Women’s Lunch Place, a Boston-based day shelter that serves women facing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Price’s connection to Women’s Lunch Place began in 2024 when she partnered with the nonprofit to provide housing for women transitioning out of homelessness. By providing access to a property under her management, she helped 50 women secure safe, stable housing. That initial call to action led Price to volunteer at Women’s Place Lunch, where she continued to see firsthand the impact the organization has on women’s lives.

This year, Price will run the Boston Marathon as part of Team WLP and is seeking sponsors to help her reach her goal of raising $15,000 in support of Women’s Lunch Place.

“I’ve witnessed firsthand the tremendous impact Women’s Lunch Place has in keeping women safe, housed, and seen,” said Price. “Every mile I run will be in honor of the women served by WLP and the incredible staff and volunteers who show up every day with compassion and purpose. I hope my fundraising efforts can further support this remarkable organization – one that has been providing healing, hope, and dignity for countless women since its founding in 1982.”

The Peabody Companies has formed an ongoing partnership with Women’s Lunch Place, rooted in a shared commitment to support women experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

As the company commemorates its 50th anniversary, staff members will engage in community and resident service projects throughout the year. Price’s marathon fundraising effort is part of a “50 Acts of Kindness” campaign, an initiative marking the company’s longstanding commitment to compassion, community, and positive impact.

“Our partnership with Women’s Lunch Place is one of our most meaningful collaborations,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, principal and CEO of The Peabody Companies. “Kaeleen’s commitment reflects the heart of that partnership and the spirit of our 50 Acts of Kindness.”
