Applications for affordable senior housing apartments now open through June 29
Braintree, Roxbury and Foxborough, MA (June 12, 2025) – The Walnut Street Joint Venture, comprised of Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. (AHSC), the Peabody Companies, and Onyx Group Development, is pleased to announce the opening of the application period for Building 2 at Walnut Knoll, an affordable senior housing community thoughtfully designed for residents aged 55 and older. Applications will be accepted through June 29, 2025.
Located at 55 Walnut Street in Foxborough, at the corner of Route 140, Walnut Knoll blends quality housing with lifestyle-driven design. More than just a place to live, Walnut Knoll offers a welcoming community where residents can stay active, engaged, and connected. Building 2 will feature 80 newly constructed apartment homes, with anticipated occupancy beginning in November.
Each apartment is designed with comfort and convenience in mind, featuring spacious layouts, oversized closets, walk-in showers, fully applianced kitchens, quartz countertops, Shaker cabinetry, and vinyl plank flooring throughout. High-speed internet and cable readiness are included, along with all utilities.

Income, asset, and occupancy restrictions apply. Local preference will be given to applicants who currently live or work in Foxborough. Rent levels and income limits are based on HUD guidelines and are subject to change. The lottery selection date will be announced at a later time.
