Braintree, MA and Warwick, RI (December 17, 2019) – Full-service real estate and property management firm Peabody Properties is proud to announce that Kristin Pine, Director of Training & Education, has been recognized for excellence by the New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA).
Pine was the recipient of the President’s Award at the recent NEAHMA Annual Industry Awards reception, held in conjunction with the organization’s Annual Conference & Trade Show.
As Director of Training & Education, Pine, who joined Peabody Properties in 2012, is at the helm of Peabody University. She also serves as an Associate Lecturer at Curry College, where she teaches several residential property management courses. Pine has served on the board of directors for NEAHMA since 2003 in various capacities, including a four-year tenure as Vice President of Training & Education and President of the Board of Directors (2014-2016). She was named National Accredited Housing Professional of the Year in 2008 and National Affordable Housing Professional/Executive Level (NAHP-e) of the Year for New England in 2016, and received the ARS Hero Award in 2016 by ARS Restoration Specialists.
A resident of Warwick, Rhode Island, Pine earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University and is presently pursuing her MBA from the University of Rhode Island. She holds numerous industry designations, including Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), National Affordable Housing Professional/Executive Level (NAHP-e) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) credentials.
