Braintree and Lawrence, MA (January 7, 2026) – Peabody Properties, an affiliate of The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, has been selected as the management firm for Lawrence CommunityWorks (LCW).

Established 40 years ago to address the pressing need for affordable housing, LCW has remained steadfast in its commitment to strengthening the city of Lawrence. Through decades of community-driven development, the nonprofit has developed or revitalized over 400 high-quality, affordable units, continually expanding its efforts to meet the growing housing demand in Lawrence.

Despite these successes, Lawrence’s population growth continues to exceed the pace of affordable housing development. In response to this growing need, LCW initiated a search for a seasoned and trusted management partner to oversee its residential communities.

Peabody Properties officially assumed management of Lawrence CommunityWorks’ housing portfolio beginning January 1, 2026.
