Braintree, MA and Enfield, CT (November 12, 2025) – The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, is pleased to announce that Stanley Acevedo of Enfield, Connecticut, has passed the Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) exam and will soon receive his official designation from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).

The SHCM certification was established by NAHMA for management professionals involved with properties developed and operated under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The SHCM accreditation certifies that Acevedo has attained the knowledge, experience and competence required to excel in the housing credit property management industry.

Acevedo joined The Peabody Companies in July of 2021 and is an occupancy specialist at Powdermill Village in Westfield, Massachusetts.
