Braintree, MA and Pawtucket, RI (January 20, 2026) – The Peabody Companies (www.wearepeabody.com), a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms is pleased to announce that Chakira Rivera of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, has passed the Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) exam and will soon receive her official designation from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).

The SHCM certification was established by NAHMA for management professionals involved with properties developed and operated under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The SHCM accreditation certifies that Rivera has attained the knowledge, experience and competence required to excel in the housing credit property management industry.

Rivera joined The Peabody Companies in June of 2022. She is the assistant property manager at One Neighborhood Builders in Providence, Rhode Island.
