Donations accepted through October 31 to support American Cancer Society research
Braintree, MA (October 22, 2025) – Though the final mile of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Ron/Walk was crossed on October 4, The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, is still going strong in its commitment to breast cancer awareness and fund raising, with donations accepted through October 31 to support the American Cancer Society’s life-saving work.
Led by members of Peabody’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee, the Peabody Wellness Warriors joined thousands of participants at the October 4 Making Strides Against Cancer 5k Run/2k Walk at Boston’s DCR Hatch Shell. Together they ran and walked in solidarity to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer.
So far, the Wellness Warriors have raised $422 toward their $1,000 goal, but they’re not done yet! Donations will be accepted through October 31, with every dollar raised to support critical research, patient services, and advocacy efforts that bring hope to survivors, thrivers, caregivers, and families.
“Team Peabody showed up strong for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Run and Walk, but our mission isn’t finished,” said DEIB Committee Co-Chair Mitchelle Frederick. “With your help we can reach our $1,000 goal and provide more hope for those who need it most.”
