Braintree and Lowell, MA (January 15, 2026) – The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms now celebrating its 50th anniversary, is pleased to announce that Wambui Okiror of Lowell, Massachusetts, has passed the Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) exam and will soon receive her official designation from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).

The SHCM certification was established by NAHMA for management professionals involved with properties developed and operated under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The SHCM accreditation certifies that Okiror has attained the knowledge, experience and competence required to excel in the housing credit property management industry.

Okiror joined The Peabody Companies in August of 2023. She is the property manager at Harbor Place Residences in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
